Une famille de Jesseau venant de Bras d'Or, Cap-Breton, est venue 
s'etablir a St-Georges vere 1830. On trouve plusieurs descendants, 
de cette famillle a Terreneuve, surtout sur la peninsule se Port-au-Port. 
Quelques  une parlent le francais.

A Jesseau family from Bras d’or, Cape Breton, came to establish themselves in St. George’s about 1830. One finds several descendants of this family in Newfoundland, especially on the Port-au-Port peninsula. Some still speak French.
