Mattis Point - Mattis Point Cemetery

Mattis Point is located near Bay St George across the river from Stephenville Crossing. The Cemetery is somewhat over grown by alders and small brush. There were many unmarked graves, also many white crosses with no names and several white stones with no names. I found the cemetery to be one of the most moving I have been in with many small graves, obviously those of small children. [* indicates my comments + indicates wooden cross.]
