LeGrow Health Centre on September 3rd, 1999 in her 86th year. She leaves to mourn with fond memories her loving and devoted husband of 66 years, Albert; six daughters: Mabel of Athens, ON, Audrey (Leonard) of Dartmouth, NS, Linda (Allan) of Waynewright, Alberta, Elsie (Fred), Margo (George), Sandra (Gus) all of Port aux Basques; two sons: Albert (Eleanor) of Dartmouth, NS and Lewis of Port aux Basques; 24 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren; two brothers: Stanley (Reta) of Port aux Basques, Thomas of Stephenville; one sister-in-law Juliann Munden of Port aux Basques; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Sarah (Neil) Billard; sister Florence; brothers: Herbert, Wilfred, Chesley, Andrew, Leslie and Edward; grandson Larry. The family began receiving friends on Friday 6-7 p.m. (Family Only) and 7-9; Saturday 2-4 and 7-9; Sunday 10-12 (Family Only). Funeral service will take place on Sunday, September 5th, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. from Wesley United Church, Port aux Basques with Rev. Effie Hewitt officiating. GRACE, Margaret (Margie) St. Petersburg, Florida The many friends of Margie Grace both in St. John's and Corner Brook will be saddened to hear of her passing on August 14, 1999. She was the Rental Manager at the Friendly Native Beach Resort for fourteen years and retired in 1991. It was there that she met and made many friends from Newfoundland. She is survived by her husband Virgil, a son William and a daughter Vickie.
SINNICKS, GeraldineHawkes Bay Passed peacefully away at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders on Wednesday, September 1st, 1999, Geraldine Sinnicks in her 49th year. Leaving to mourn: her husband Michael; daughter Michelle (Dean); son Faron (Deena); grandchildren: Kayla and Brandon, all residing at Hawkes Bay. She was predeceased by her mother, Myra Payne, 1991, and her father, Reginald Payne, 1992. The family will be receiving friends at Holy Innocent's Anglican Church in Hawkes Bay on Thursday and Friday from where funeral service will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Maxwell; four daughters: Donna (Wade) Bungay of St. Anthony, Kay (Hayward) Ralph of Jacksons Arm, Brenda (Alvin) Gillingham of Normans Cove, and Bonnie (Mike) Arsenault of Ottawa; one son, Terry (Wanda) of Calgary; nine grandchildren: Angie, Patty, Stephen, Keith, Katherine, Amy, Jake, Heather, and Luke; three sisters: Anne (Earl) Thistle, Jean (Ronald) both of Corner Brook, and Florence Ford of Oshawa; three brothers: Fred (Sadie) Wicks of Pasadena, Wilfred (Christine) Wicks of Jacksons Arm, and Stewart Wicks of North Sydney. WALSH, John (Jack) BernardFormerly of Corner Brook It is with great sadness that the family of the late John (Jack) Walsh announce his passing at his residence in British Columbia after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sept. 12, 1999, at the age of 44 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, his daughter, Natasha of Corner Brook. Special companion, Suzanne Perreault and daughters: Kayla and Chelsea. Brothers: James (Loretta), George (Melinda) of British Columbia, Jerome, Joseph (Michelle) of Corner Brook. Pasadena Sept. 18th, 1965 - Sept. 18th, 1999 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Helen Lorraine Seaward announce her passing on Saturday, September 18th, 1999 at her family residence in her 34th year after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by his son, Donald (Bonnie) in Felix Cove and three daughters: Theresa (Jim) Ballard in Aguathuna, Mary (Anthony) Hynes in Port au Port East, Valerie Parsons in Exeter, Ontario and two brothers: Cecil (Priscilla) in Stephenville, Walter (Bernice) in Nova Scotia and four sisters: Mary Joe Croucher and Isabel Whyatt, both in Halifax, Jean Coffey in Antigonish, Theresa Vanderberry in the United States and 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends.
