Will of Richard Hynes
IN RE: RICHARD HYNES. DECEASED This is the last Will and Testament of me Richard Hynes farmer of Millville in the District of St. George's in the Island of Newfoundland. I hereby revoke all wills and testamentary instruments heretofore by me made. I appoint my wife Margaret Hynes and my son Leonard Hynes to be the Executors of this my will. I direct my Executors to pay my just Debts and funeral and Testamentary expenses. I give and bequeath to my wife Margaret Hynes my dwelling house with all household goods. One cow except one bed and pillows and after her death to my son Leonard Hynes. Should my wife Margaret Hynes marry again, my dwelling house with all my household goods shall belong to my son Leonard Hynes. My son Leonard Hynes shall live with his mother Margaret Hynes and provide for her as long as she remains my widow. I give and bequeath unto my son Leonard Hynes part of my farm as shown on Diagram No 1 on the Grant 16 chains and fifty links wide starting from the Boundary line between John W Gale and Richard Hynes fronting the Public Road and half my farm as shown on Diagram No 2 on the Grant starting from the Boundary line between the Gale's and Richard Hynes. I give and bequeath to my son Leonard Hynes all my Cattle (except one Cow) all my Sheep and Pigs all my Farming implements all my Tools I give and bequeath to my son Richard D Hynes part of my farm as shown on Diagram No 1 on the Grant 8 chains wide starting starting from the Boundary line between Joseph hall and Richard Hynes fronting the Public Road and half of my farm as shown on Diagram No 2 on the Grant starting from the Boundary line between Crown Land and Richard Hynes I give and bequeath to my son John Hynes my bed and pillows my gun and my clothes chest and all therein Should my son Richard D Hynes want to sell his part of the property at any time he must give his brother Leonard Hynes a reasonable offer to buy it. Will of Richard Hynes
