Will of Charles E. Parsons

IN RE:   CHARLE E. PARSONS.    DECEASED

This is the last Will and Testament of me Charles E. Parsons, Residing at Curling Bay of Islands, Newfoundland, I hereby revoking all former Wills at any time made by me, and being now desirous of settling my affairs in the event of my decease, and having full confidence in the person afternamed as trustee and Executor, Do hereby give grant assign, dispose, convey and make over, to and in favor of my son Richard I. Parsons, all my land property situate at Curling, aforesaid. Bounded on the West by Bagg Brothers property, and on the East by the Church of England, property, with all Buildings of every description Dwelling House, Outhouses, Easements, Waterways, Therein and thereupon the aforesaid land, East, West, South and North, Known as the property of the said Charles E. Parsons.

Second. My said son Richard I. Parsons is to be my sole Executor, and trustee, of this my Will, and I direct my Executor to pay my just debts, personal testamentary expenses.

The foregoing sections of this my will is with the understanding that my said son, Richard I. Parsons, Executor and Trustee, will provide and look after with care my beloved wife, Clearista Parsons, during her lifetime, and at her decease to give her decent, and respectiable burial.

I will and desire that the foregoing Sections of this my will be carried out in every particular as herein expressed.

In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this 18th day of November 1913.

Codicil.

I Charles E. Parsons being of sound mind and understanding, do hereby Will desire and Bequeath unto my son Charles E. Parsons. All my right title and interest whatsoever belonging to the Saw Mill property, situate at Curling with all and every of its equipment together with lumber of every description. Also that piece or parcel of land with Sawmill and all buildings thereupon. Bounded as follows:- That is to say on the South by the Church property on the West by the Boundary fence of the Dwelling house. Thence running North and East to the Waters of the Humber with all privileges belonging and connected therewith.

I will and desire that this Codicil added to my Will herein expressed be carried in every particular.

In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this 9th day of October 1914.
