Will of Alexander Read

In re: ALEXANDER READ. DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me, Alexander Read of Curling, Bay of Islands, Telegrapher.
I appoint my wife, Elizabeth Ann Read, sole Executrix of this my will.
I bequeath to my said wife all my property, real and personal, and all goods and effects of which I may die possessed to have and to hold the same during her lifetime or until she remarries. Upon her death or in the event of her remarriage all my property, goods and effects shall be divided equally between my three children, Selina Elizabeth, Francis Charles and James Alexander; share and share alike.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand at Curling aforesaid this twenty fifth day of October A.D. 1921.

Signed, published and declared by the testator as his last will in our presence, who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
