Know all men by these presents that I Angus McEchren of Curling Bay of Islands District of St. Georges Newfoundland being of sound disposing mind and memory, to hereby make and publish this my last will and Testament. 

1st. I give and bequeath to my daughter Teresa recently married Ten hundred and eighty seven dollars and fifty cents [$1087.50] out of an amount of Four thousand three hundred fifty [$4350.00] now standing in the Bank of Montreal Birchy Cove Branch and in my name said amount to be free from the control of her husband. 

2nd. I give and bequeath to my daughter Cathrine Ten hundred and eighty seven dollars and fifty cts [$1087.50] and in addition to this amount I give and devise to her the dwelling house situated at Curling Bay of Islands near the Stipendiary Magistrates residence with all such household furniture and effects as is now contained therein as also the woodshed, together with the land now fenced in connection therewith. 

3rd. I give and bequeath to my daughter Bessie [now Mrs. Doyle residing in Attlebro Mass United States, Ten hundred eighty seven Dollars [$1087] free from the control of her husband. 

4th. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary [now Mrs. George Stearns] residing in Brockton United States Ten hundred eighty seven dollars fifty cts. [$1087.50] free from the control and interference of her husband. 

5th. I give devise and bequeath to my Brother Lewis McEchren all my wearing apparel which is to be forwarded to him immediately after my death. 

I ordain and appoint Hon. M.S. Gibbs K.C. as my executor of this my last will & Testament In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this to be my last will and Testament in her presence of the witnesses named below this Fourth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen [1917] -Angus McEchren [LS] Signed published and declared by the said Angus McEchren, as and for his last will and Testament, in the presence of each of us -who at his request, and in the presence of each other have subscribed our hands and witnesses hereto Levi March [LS] M. J. Kehoe [LS]
