Henry Giles deceased

The last will and testament of me Henry Giles of Tilt Cove in the Northern District of Newfoundland this nineteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred & eighteen. I Henry Giles being of sound condition do hereby make this my last will and testament. 

1st. I give and bequeath to Daniel Giles my stepbrother all my interests in the property at Biblys Cove consisting of Dwelling House, Stage, Store, and land, to be his property for ever. 

2nd. To William Giles my son I bequeath my silver watch. 

3. To Daniel Giles my adopted son now living in America a gold pin. 

4. All nets gear and money to go to John Pynn of Tilt Cove providing he takes good care of me when alive and after death to see me decently buried and a tombstone erected to myself and wife lately deceased. I also appoint James M. Jackman of Tilt Cove as my Executor - Henry his X mark Giles. Signed in the joint presence of us who have signed our names in his presence and in the presence of each other, the will having first been read over and explained to the testator who appeared fully to understand the same.
