In re: WILLIAM MERCHANT DECEASED.
This is my last will & testament while in my right mind & with clear conscience. I leave to my son Corbett one shilling sterling to my daughter Emily one shilling sterling to my daughter Miriam one shilling sterling All the rest of my estate I leave to my dear wife to be hers to do as she pleases with it Also 1000 dollars in the Bank of Montreal to be hers after my decease I mean the one thousand dollars to my wife Elizabeth Bessie Merchant I also appoint Mr. Archibald Targett to be executor to my will
