In re: THOMAS T. CARTWRIGHT. DECEASED. After the payment of my just debts and funeral charges, I bequeath and devise as follows: FIRST. To my wife Estella A. Cartwright of said Springfield, one half of all my estate, both real and personal, for her own use and behoof forever. SECOND. To my executrix, the rest and residue of my estate, both real and personal, in trust nevertheless for her own use, until my daughter Ruby May Cartwright shall have attained the age of twenty one years; at which time the principal sum shall be paid over to my said daughter. But should the executrix herein named die before my said daughter attains said age, the principal sum shall be invested, and the income allowed to accumulate; and shall be paid over to my said daughter together with the aforesaid principal sum when she shall have reached the aforesaid age. And if my said daughter should die before she shall have attained twenty one years of age, all of her share under this will shall vest in my wife Estella A. Cartwright for her own use and behoof forever. I nominate my wife Estella A. Cartwright to be the executrix of this will, and I request that she may be exempt from giving a surety or sureties on any bond or bonds that may be required of her. In testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand, and in the presence of three witnesses declare this to be my last will this twenty seventh day of December A.D. 1896.THOMAS T. CARTWRIGHT. On this 27th day of December A.D. 1896, Thomas T. Cartwright of Springfield, Massachusetts, signed the foregoing instrument in our presence, declaring it to be his last will, and as witnesses thereof, we three do now at his request, in his presence, and in the presence of each other, hereunto subscribe our names.
