Will of Samuel Fiander

In re: SAMUEL FIANDER. DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen. I Samuel Fiander being in full possession of my faculties but fearing this night might put an end to my life do ordain this my last will and testament. I bequeath to God a soul polluted by many sins but I hope purified by Jesus Christ. I leave to son Samuel Fiander who is my eldest child one hundred pounds sterling that is now lying in the Consolidated £3 per cent annuities. And likewise all my other effects and property save a suit of new clothes consisting of a jacket vest a nd trousers which I bequeath to my second eldest son James Fiander. And I appoint the aforesaid Samuel Fiander sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills and testaments whatever.

In witness whereof I hereunto subscribe my name and affix my seal this seventh day of May one thousand eight hundred and fifty one.
