Will of Martha Noel Brown

IN RE:   MARTHA NOEL BROWN.    DECEASED

This is the last will of me Martha Noel Brown at present of London England, Spinster, and I revoke all former wills by me made. I appoint my nephew Robert B. Job and the Royal Trust Company, (hereinafter called ("my trustees") executors and trustees of this my will.

    1. I give to Miss Lilian K. Meatyard my former nurse and companion the sum of Two hundred and fifty dollars.

    2. The residue of my estate I give to my trustees upon trust to pay the net annual income thereof
    (a) to my sister Diana Nightingale during her life
    (b) after her death in equal shares to my nieces, her daughters, Agnes and Tottie Nightingale, during their joint lives
    ( c) on the death of one of said nieces the whole of said income to the other, the survivor, during her life and
    (d) on the death of said survivor to distribute the then residue of my estate equally among the children then living of all nephews and nieces of mine in other words among my Grand nephews and/or Grand Nieces.

    3. Should the said net income be less than Seven hundred and fifty dollars then it shall be in the absolute discretion of my trustees to resort to the corpus of my estate in order to augment as they deem well the annual sum to be paid to the then said life annuitant or annuitants.

    4. My trustees shall while using all reasonable precaution have absolute discretion in the conversion and reconversion of my estate and in investing and reinvesting the moneys thereof.

    IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have set my hand to this my will this 10th day of November Anno Domini, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.
