Will of Mary Fitzpatrick

In re: MARY FITZPATRICK DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen. I Mary Fitzpatrick, widow of St. John’s Newfoundland, at present in ill health but of perfect sound mind and memory, do hereby make my last will and testament.

I bequeath to my son John Fitzpatrick all my property without any reserve, viz all my houses, goods, chattels, monies and effects which I am now, or may hereafter be possessed of, together with my shares in the Commercial Bank and also my Government debentures. Ratifying this and no other to be my last will and testament I hereby appoint my said son John to be my executor.

Mary her X mark Fitzpatrick. Done at St. John’s Newfoundland this ninth day of December in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six in the presence of Francis Trelegan, Francis St. John, witnesses.
