Will of John Trew

In re: JOHN TREW. DECEASED.

I John Trew son of Roger and Elizabeth Trew of Marnhull in the County of Dorset being of sound mind do declare this my last will and testament (viz) I give and bequeath unto my mother Elizabeth Trew forty pounds and likewise I give to my brother George Trew ten pounds which said money is at present in the hands of Mr. John Colborne of Sturminster Newton Dorset I likewise give and bequeath to my brothers Georges three children James Trew, Thomas Trew and Lavinia Trew or the survivors of them at the time of m y decease ten pounds in equal shares between them which said money is at present in the Blandford Savings Bank and I likewise give and bequeath to the above James Trew, Thomas Trew and Lavinia Trew all the remainder of money good chattels wearing apparel or whatever I die possessed of or may be entitled to at the time of my decease Now I nominate and appoint my brother George Trew of Marnhull Dorset my executor under this my last will and testament

In witness thereto I hereby affix my hand and seal to this sheet of paper this fourth day of May one thousand eight hundred and thirty four.
