Will of John Joseph Hackett

In re: JOHN JOSEPH HACKETT. DECEASED.

I, John Joseph Hackett of the Borough of Brooklyn County of Kinds, State of New York being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my Last will and Testament.

First: I hereby revoke any and all wills heretofore by me made.

Second: I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved sister Mary Joseph O'Reilly the Executrix of this my Last will and Testament.

Third. I hereby direct that my said Executrix pay all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon as may be convenient after my decease.

Fourth: I hereby bequeath to Mary Evans the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars.

Fifth: I hereby bequeath to Frederick H. Butler the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars.

Sixth: I hereby devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my property real, personal and mixed wherever situate to my beloved sister Mary Joseph O'Reilly.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twentieth day of October one thousand nine hundred and one. John J. Hackett (LS) Signed Sealed published and declared by the testator as and for his Last will and Testament in our presence, who, in his presence, and at his request, and in the presence of each other, have signed our names as witnesses to the execution hereof.
