In re: JAMES ALLAN LEDINGHAM DECEASED.

James Allan Ledingham, Captain, died 9 Oct 1917

St. John's Newfoundland October second one thousand nine Hundred and Fourteen. I James Allan Ledingham having volunteered my services and joined the Newfoundland regiment and leavting for England hereby leave in charge of my affairs in connection with my late father's estate and my private affairs to be looked after by my Aunt Agnes Ledingham, John Anderson, and my brother Alexander Roger Ledingham. In the event of my not returning through death my interest in my father's estate to be divided equally between my Aunt Agnes Ledingham and my sisters Bessie V. Agnes A., and Anna M J Ledingham. To my sister Bessie I leave an insurance policy [Mutual life] for $1000. The balance of my Insurance $3000 [sum life] to be divided as follows. To my Aunt Agnes Ledingham $1000. To my sister Bessie Ledingham $1000 to my sister Anna Ledingham $1000. - James Allan Ledingham
