In re: HENRY MOORE. DECEASED.

This is the Last and testament of me Henry Moore of Gillgrove Egremont in the County of Cumberland Mining Engineer I appoint my brothers John Joseph Moore and William Moore Executors of this my will and I direct them so soon as conveniently may be after my decease to pay off and discharge all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give my watch and chain and gold scarf pin set with pearls to my brother William Moore

I give and bequeath to my father John Moore all the moneys that may be due and received from the Scottish Provincial Assurance Society in respect of the Policy of Assurance on my life therein

I give to each of my sisters in law Lizzie Hughes and Martha Rees the legacy of eight hundred pounds being the Interest derived by me as the representative of my late wife under the will of her father Robert Courtland deceased I give devise and bequeath all the remainder of my property whether real or personal to which I may die seized possessed or entitled or which I have power to dispose of or to appoint by this my will unto my said brothers John Joseph Moore and William Moore upon Trust to sell call in and convert into money the same or such part thereof as shall not consist of money and shall with and out of the moneys produced by such sale calling in and conversion and with and out of my ready money pay my debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the legacies hereinbefore mentioned but so that the proceeds of Real Estate shall not be applied in payment of the said legacies unless the other moneys applicable thereto under this trust shall be insufficient for payment thereof and shall stand possessed of the residuary trust moneys In Trust to pay and divide the same equally between and amongst my brothers the said John Joseph Moore William Moore and Robert Moore the issue of such of them as may be then dead leaving issue such issue to take and if more than one equally between them the share which his or their parent would have taken of and in my residuary trust funds if such parent had survived me

Hereby Revoking all former and other wills I declare this only to be my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-fourth day of June one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight Henry Moore signed by the said Henry Moore the Testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
