Will of Ernest Pollett Ward |
In re: ERNEST P. WARD DECEASED.
Statement I the undersigned hereby declare that in case of my death [through mishap or unforeseen circumstances attending the operation to be performed on me on Friday, August 8th/19]
I do appoint my wife Hattie to administer my affairs & that after my loan [with the details of whichs (?) she quite familiar] has been repaid & all other bills paid & liabilities met, she is to receive everything remaining including insurance & all other things of value that belonged to me. It is my request however that my large dictionary go to my sister Constance in England & any other little momento which my wife sees fit & suitable to send my mother & sister. Further when Campbell my eldest child becomes of suitable age to care for it he is to have my watch, other things are left entirely to the discretion of my dear wife.
I am entirely resigned to the Will of God my Heavenly father & he will provide for my dear ones. E. Pollett Ward. General Hospital Augst 7th 1919.
