Trinity Bay Region ~ Trinity South

Grates Cove - United Church Cemetery

Grates Cove is a fishing community located in Trinity Bay, Newfoundland. It is one of the oldest fishing communities in Newfoundland. The United Church Cemetery is located on a hill in the center of the community. It is adjacent to the Catholic Cemetery and very near the Anglican Cemetery. It is a rather unique cemetery in that it is surrounded by a rock wall fence.

The headstones were read, recorded and transcribed by FRANK & HEATHER KING, July 1999. While we have endeavored to be as correct as humanly possible, there may be errors.
