Grates Cove - Old Roman Catholic Cemetery

his Old Roman Catholic Cemetery is located near the historical stone fences in the Grates Cove. It is easily missed as you drive through the community. It is a relatively small grave yard which is heavily overgrown by grass and shrubs. Many of the remaining headstones have been damaged or toppled over. The writings on several of the headstones were difficult to decipher.

The headstones were read, recorded and transcribed by FRANK & HEATHER KING, July 1999. While we have endeavored to be as correct as humanly possible, there may be errors.
