Will of William Jas Targett

This name is spelled Target in the will index, and Targett and Targette in the will.

IN RE:   WILLIAM JAS TARGETT.    DECEASED

Know all Men by these Presents That I William Jas Targett of Hants Harbour Trinity Bay in the Island of Newfoundland tin Smith, being of a sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made And as to my worldly estate, and all the property real personal or mixed of which I shall die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease I devise bequeath and dispose of in the manner following to wit
First. My will is, that all my just debts and other expenses shall, by my executrix herein after named be paid out of my estate, as soon after my decease as shall be found convenient.
Item. I give and bequeath to my honoured Step mother Anna B. Targette all the piece and parcel of land situated at Hearts Content with the house thereon and all that appertain thereto also my interest in house and land situated at Hants Harbor to have and to hold the same during her natural life

And lastly I do nominate the said Anna B Targett to be the executrix of this my last will & Testament In Token whereof I the said William J. Targette have to this my last will and testament subscribed my name this 24th day of June in the year of our Lord 1911 William J Targett. Signed sealed and declared by the said William Targett as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us witness James Gardiner Luke Pittman Commissioner Supreme Court
