In re: JOHN RANDELL. DECEASED.
In the name of God Amen I Capt John Randell of Port Rexton in Trinity Bay planter being weak of body but being sound of mind and memory behold by God for all his mercies; and being mindful of my latter end I make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me
FIRST I bequeath my soul into the hands of the Almighty and pray that he will deal mercifully with it.
SECONDLY I give and bequeath to Egbert my son and May my daughter after the mother decease my dwelling house outhouses cellar and garden and Office but nothing to be sold out of the family after the decease.
THIRDLY I give and bequeath to my grandson Robert John piece of land between William Barbers and the road. The remainder of my land is to go to my three sons Isaac Robert John Thomas and Egbert. The piece of culavet land between the station and the upper road the piece of unculaveted between vivens and the station The square of land between Polly Walters brook and the ridge inside the L. C. A. Hall One third of mosey ridge garden by the school Twenty one feet of water side from road going down to the dock to the water side If ever the land wanted to be parted I want my son Isaac Robert trustee to see it done If ever my daughter Mrs. Sheers wanted to build a house my sons might allow her a place to build I make my son Isaac Robert full trustee for what money I have including my Masonic Insurance he is to give over to the mother One hundred dollars [and thirty dollars a year and after her death whatever is left is to be shared between the four daughters Mrs. Annie Hoder Mrs. Kate Sheers Mrs. Editha Martha Cooper and Mary P. Randell My carrage and Harnest I give to my nephew Samuel Randell The gun that Mrs. Long got belong to me is to be brought home and sold JOHN RANDELL
Signed sealed and delivered as the last will and testament of Capt John Randell in presence of Albert E. Butler June 9th 1920 in his presence and in the presence of each other; We hereby witness the signature of Capt John Randell to this his last Will and Testament, and at his special request have made the erasure of the words “and thirty” in the fourth line from the top of this page; thus making the sentence to run one hundred dollars a year, and the same has been read over to the said Capt John Randell, and has been approved by him.
