Will of George Unicume

In re: GEORGE UNICUME. DECEASED.

Dated at Hearts Content Newfoundland this eighteenth day of November Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and seventy six- I George Unicume being of sound mind do hereby will and bequeath the whole of my property and effects to my wife Emma Amelia Unicume to be used by her for her own maintenance and the maintenance and education of our children and I request that she shall not expend the capital unless compelled to do so but live on the interest- And I herein provide that if Emma Amelia Unicume should ma rry again the money property and effects shall cease to be hers and belong solely to our children to be used for their maintenance and education and whatever remains to be equally divided between them when the youngest is of age- I do appoint the Revd George Gardner and Azra Weedon Esq to be executors and to see as far as possible the above provisions carried out In witness whereof I do sign my hand
