In re In the name of God Amen. I George Russell Planter of Catalina in the District of Trinity Bay Newfoundland being in ill health but of sound mind and memory do hereby make my last will and testament. I will and bequeath to my sons William Russell and George Russell the fishing room dwelling house out houses garden and meadows now occupied by them and my part of “Boat Farounti” nets and seins used by them and in their possession to have and to hold untill their death and then to be equally divided between their children I will and bequeath to my sons William Russell and George Russell what money is in possession of Benjamin Snelgrove & Sons Merchants after paying my funeral expences to be equally divided between them I will and bequeath to my son Thomas Russell Ten pounds cy and the land he occupied being give to him by me. I will and bequeath to my daughter Hannah Diamond Ten pounds cy I will and bequeath to my daughter Caroline Russell fifty pounds cy and one bed & bedding and half the dwelling house and land attached to said dwelling house now occupied by me I will and bequeath to Harriet Russell Fifty pounds cy and one chefonier and use of dwelling house untill she get married and then no further claim on said dwelling house. I will and bequeath to my grand son Joseph Russell half of the dwelling house and land attached to said dwelling house now occupied by me to be his as long as he lives and then to be his heirs neither Joseph or Caroline have power to sell said house or land willed to them by me out of the family My son William is to help support my grandson Joseph untill he is able to provide for himself I will and bequeath to my grandson Joseph one bed and bedding the use of the same is for Harriet Russell as long as she have use of the dwelling house I will and bequeath to my son George all my wearing apparel and what money now in my possession after paying the amounts herein specified is to be equally divided between my son William Russell and my son George Russell I also appoint my son William Russell and my son George Russell my executors.
