Will of George Higgins

In re: GEORGE HIGGINS. DECEASED.

I, George Pittman Higgins, fisherman of Catalina N.F.L.D. having outlived the usual length of life allotted to man, but being of sound mind, memory and understanding, consider it prudent to make this my last Will and Testament for the disposal of my personal and other property, which I do now in manner and form following -

First, I will and bequeath to my son thomas Higgins my house and the northern half of my land and to my son George the southern half of of my land. And I hereby appoint Robert John Moors of Catalina to be my Executor for the purpose of having this my will performed according to my wishes.

Given under my hand this fourteenth day of February in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eighty seven at Catalina Newfoundland GEORGE his X mark HIGGINS Witnesses to this last Will & Testament of George Higgins of Catalina W.N. Snelgrove A.E. Snelgrove.
