Reuben Martin deceased This is my last will and testimony of me Reuben Martin junr of Grates Cove District of Bay de Verde I give bequste(?) and advise as follows I give the house to my wife Mary Ellen Martin and all its contents there in and also my half of the stage and my part of the flakes and also my own part of the gardens what I possess what my father give me Barbers Hill Gardens and around the gulch garden the mesh garden and also my part of the fish house and half of the cellar and also my part of the stable and this property not to go out of the name of Martins Reuben Martin junr X his mark. Witnesses Henry Thomas Norris Thomas Meadows(?) X his mark I appoint said witness at Grates Cove this 26th day of Dec A.D. 1918 I said Reuben Martin do ad to my Will on the 7th day of Jan 1919 A.D. that my wife Mary Ellen Martin is to have the mare and all connected with her slide cart and harness and so on and is to do what suits her to sell her to whom she likes to sell her to.
