THE EVENING TELEGRAM FEB. 3,1922 SEAMAN DROWNED Messers. Fred H. Ellis & Co., have received a message advising them that a sailor named Dawe had been drowned from the schooner "Inspiration," whilst on the passage from this port to Lisbon. The unfortunate man is Job Dawe better known as Joseph. He belongs to St. John's and is married. A wife and six children survive him. The oldest Wm, aged 17 and the youngest is a girl aged 4. The Inspiration left here on January 14th and arrived at her destination on the 28th making a splendid run across. To the family of the deceased the Telegram extends sympathy. The sad duty of informing the widow devolved upon Rev. Mr. Nicholis of St. Michaels Church.
