ISLE AUX MORTS - A succession of islands just outside the main land on the south coast, district of Burgeo and La Poile. They are very dangerous and many wrecks have occurred on them. The scenery here is very beautiful. Distant from Rose Blanche 12 miles by boat. Mail fortnightly. Population 155.
