Will of Timothy Pike

IN RE:   TIMOTHY PIKE.    DECEASED

I Timothy Pike of Channel Newfoundland in the District of Burgeo and LaPoile, being of sound mind and memory - do make and publish, this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. That is to say

    I. I give devise and bequeath to my son Thomas Pike the sum of $1000.00 (One thousand dollars)

    II. I give devise and bequeath to my son Edward Pike my property consisting of House (dwelling) Store House, Stage with all land and the sum of $100.00 One hundred dollars in cash -

    III. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Adelaide Dicks. The house now occupied by her with land surrounding it-

    IV. I give devise and bequeath to my son John Pike the sum of $300.00 Three hundred dollars.

    V. I hereby appoint my son Thomas Pike sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament -

Signed by the Testator in our presence, and declared by him to be his last Will and Testament who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our hand this Fifteenth day of May One thousand nine hundred and thirteen (1913)
