In re EBENEZER THOMPSON deceased. This is the last will and testament of me, Ebenezer Thompson of Hermitage Cove in the Electoral District of Fortune in the Island of Newfoundland, Physician. I revoke all former wills by me at any time made, and I appoint Donald M. Browning of St. John’s in the said Island, one of His Majesty’s Counsel, the executor of this my will. I give and bequeath to my said executor my land and house at Hermitage Cove aforesaid upon trust to permit George Aquila Hunt Ball, son of my deceased friend George Ball of Rencontre, to occupy the same and enjoy the rents, issues and profits thereof until the said George Aquila Hunt Ball attains the age of twenty-one years, provided that the said George Aquila Hunt Ball shall keep the said land and the buildings thereon in good condition and repair, but otherwise, and in any case upon the said George Aquila Hunt Ball attaining the said age of twenty-one years, upon trust for my grandchild Winifred Pike, and to be conveyed to her upon her attaining the age of twenty-one years.
