Will of Beatrice Keeping

IN RE:   BEATRICE KEEPING.    DECEASED

I, Beatrice Keeping of Port Aux Basques in the District of Burgeo and LaPoile Newfoundland, being of sound mind and memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following - That is to say.

    I. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Julia Glasgow, my dwelling house and contents on condition, she cares for and provides a home for my three children, Elsie, Lillian and Hazel until they come of age or are able to care for themselves.

    II. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Dora Hill, that piece of land situate at Port Aux Basques and adjoining my dwelling house.

    III. I further give devise and bequeath to my daughter Laura, now resident in Canada, that piece of land situate at Channel.

    IV. I further give devise and bequeath to my three children, Elsie, Lillian & Hazel, all monies to my credit in the Bank and all other monies in my possession, to be divided equally between them and to be used towards their support.

    V. I appoint Frederick Martin sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.

Signed by the Testatrix in our presence and declared by her to be her last Will and Testament, who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our hand this Eleventh day of November in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty four.
