Last Will and Testament I Anne Jeans Sr. of Cape Ray in the district of Burgeo and La Poile in the island of Newfoundland being of sound mind and memory to make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say, 1. I give devise and bequeath to each of my sons and daughters the sum of $100. One hundred Dollars, said money now deposited in the Newfoundland Savings Bank - The balance of my money in said Bank to be used for my burial expenses and for a headstone 2. I hereby appoint my son Joseph Jeans sole executor of this my last will and Testament. Signed by the Testator in our presence and declared by her to be her last will and Testament who in her presence and the presence of each other have hereunto set our hand in witness thereof this eight day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen. Signed Anne her X mark Jeans Witness Cpl. S. William Horatio J. Read.
