Fox Harbour - Fox Harbour Roman Catholic Cemetery Part 2

Fox Harbour is located about 20 km from Placentia. It is a small fishing community located in a protected harbour. The Roman Catholic Cemetery is located high on a hill within the community. Although the church is quite easy to find, the cemetery is not visible from the road. It would be wise to ask for directions, rather than trying to locate it yourself. It is found along a rough gravel road, high on the hill, and away from the community. The road is about 1 kilometer long. The cemetery is divided into an older and newer section. The older section is difficult to navigate in places. Towards the tree line, many of the graves are overgrown by shrubs and small trees. Several of the graves have not been tended to for some time. A few headstones are badly damaged. These headstones were read, recorded and transcribed by FRANK KING, July 2000. While I have endeavored to be as correct as humanly possible, there may betypographical errors.
