Will of Samuel Hollett
In re

Samuel Hollett deceased.

In the name of God Amen. this is to certify that I Samuel Hollett of Sound Island Placentia Bay being at this time of sound mind and memory do hereby make this my last will and testament as follows, the property to be divided equally into five parts two parts out of the five to be equally divided among my sisters or heirs Jane Brinston, Matilda Brenston, Mary Ann Hacy, Susan Butcher, Samuel Brace the son of the late Eliza Brace- the other three shares to be equally divided to my brothers or heirs John Hollett, James Hollett, John Hollett the son of the late Thomas Hollett, Joselin Hollett son of the late Josiah Hollett, likewise the half of the Room is the property of my brother James Hollett and the other half the property of Joselin Hollett son of Josiah Hollett deceased; likewise I give and bequeath the sum of 10 pounds to the Wesleyan Methodist Society to be paid out of the amount in the firm of Messrs. Grieves, Merchants, St. John’s.
