 In re     Nicholas Cosgrove     deceased.

    In the name of God Amen.     This is the last will and Testament of me Nicholas Cosgrove of Point Verde Fog Alarm assistant Keeper. I appoint William F. O’Reilly Executor of this my last will and Testament     I will that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as possible after my decease     I will to my sister Mary the sum of one Hundred Dollars for the purpose of having one hundred Masses celebrated for the repose of the souls of our family and myself, including my wives and children.
I will to my daughter Laura the sum of one Hundred Dollars To my son Frank the sum of Fifty dollars     To my Sister Mary the sum of One Hundred Dollars     In case there is not sufficient money to pay above bequests the first or Laura share is to be paid first then Mary’s share    
The balance of my property both real and personal consisting of the property at Point Verde belonging to my late son Charles and everything I may die possessed of I will devise and bequeath to my daughter Laura to my son Frank and to my sister Mary share and share alike but it is my wish that no division of this property shall be made till after the death of my sister Mary except it is absolutely necessary for their support     I hereby appoint my sister Mary guardian to my daughter     Any of Marys property, that is the one third part of above mentioned remaining unsold at her death may be willed by her in any way she thinks right I hereby revoke all wills by me at any time heretofore made     In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at Placentia this 5th day of May A.D. 1913 - Nicholas Cosgrove - Signed by the Testator and acknowledged by him to be his last will and Testament in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other we have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses     Thomas Mooney     Edward Collins
