In the name of God Amen. This is the last Will and Testament of me Neil McKendrick of Placentia in the Dominion of Newfoundland. Medical Doctor. I appoint Wm. F. O’Reilly of Placentia Stipendiary Magistrate, Executor of this my last Will and Testament.

I will that my just debts funeral and Testamentary Expenses be paid by my Executor as soon as possible after my decease.

I will devise and bequeath the money I may die possessed of as follows.

1. To my brother Donald’s daughter, Gertrude McKendrick, my niece, I will devise and bequeath the sum of Five hundred dollars.

2. To my sister Catherine wife of Charles E. Hughes of Saddle Lake Alberta I will devise and bequeath the sum of One thousand dollars.

3. To Helena Sinnott of Placentia I will devise and bequeath the sum of One thousand dollars.

4. To my niece Anna Campbell I will devise and bequeath the sum of Two hundred and Fifty dollars.

5. To my niece Florence Campbell, wife of John H. Lyon Bendering via Perth West Australia I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

6. To my niece Sarah Campbell wife of Joseph O’Neill Conncant Ohio U.S.A. I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

7. To my niece Edna Baldwin wife of Forest L. Swett of Newport Maine I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

8. To the Parish priest of Placentia I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

9. To the Rev. Mother for the Convent Placentia I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

10. To the Mount Cashel Orphanage I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

11. To the Belvidere Orphanage I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

12. To the Church of England Orphanage St. John’s I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

13. To the Methodist Orphanage St. John’s I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

14. To the Permanent Disasters Fund I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

15. To Jensen Camp I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

16. To the Red Cross I will devise and bequeath the sum of One hundred dollars.

17. To the Maternity Hospital St. John’s I will devise and bequeath the sum of Two hundred dollars.

18. I will devise and bequeath the balance of my estate to Helena Sinnott to be distributed according to the instructions I have given her.

19. I hereby revoke all wills at any time heretofore made by me.
