Will of Mary Rodway

In re: MARY RODWAY. DECEASED

This is the last will of me Mary widow of Richard Rodway of Baine Harbor, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland. I bequeath to my six sons namely John Rodway, Albert Rodway, Wilson Rodway, Richard England Rodway, Amos Rodway, Archelaus Rodway and my Three Daughters, namely Amy Reeves, Julia Dicks, and Selina Williams and my Grandson Thomas Richard Thorne and my Granddaughter Mary Selina Thorne, whatever money of mine there may be in The Bank of Montreal St. John’s in the name of my son John Rodway, or any other money of mine elsewhere at the time of my death, to be equally divided among my said sons and daughters and Grand children as above named after deducting my lawful debts and Funeral expenses.

I appoint The Reverend John Hewitt Clergyman of the Church of England resident in Burin and my son John Rodway Executors of This my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 11th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine Hundred and seven Mary Her X mark Rodway Signed by the said Mary Rodway (by affixing her mark) as her last will In the presence of us, who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the above having been first read and approved by the said Testatrix Thomas Le Feurie Merchant James W Smith Clerk.
