Will of James Murphy

IN RE:   JAMES MURPHY.    DECEASED

In the name of God Amen: This is the last will and Testament of me James Murphy of Placentia general Dealer

I appoint Wm F O'Reilly of Placentia Executor of this my last Will and Testament

I will that my just debts be paid as soon as possible after my decease

I will devise and bequeath to my wife Ellen my dwelling house situate at Placentia the furniture and every thing else in it the land connected with it and all my right title and interest in and to the property now leased by me from Messrs Bradshaw consisting of Store Wharf and land situate on the Jersey Side for her use during life and at her death

I will devise and bequeath all this property aforementioned to my daughter Maud her heirs and successors forever - As my wife has only a life interest in the property above written it all going to my daughter Maud at her death she (my wife) is not to sell or in any way dispose of any part of it

I hereby confirm the agreement made between my sons Philip and Francis and myself in connection with the business premises consisting of shop Stores and wharf and I now will to them all my right title and interest in and to this property for ever The balance of my estate both real and personal I will devise and bequeath to my wife Ellen

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at Placentia this 22 day of October A.D. One thousand nine hundred and ten James Murphy Signed by the Testator and acknowledged by him to be his last will and Testament in our presence who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other at the same time we have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Henry Verran John Murphy.
