In re: BARTHOLOMEW MCGRATH. DECEASED
In the name of God Amen: This is the last will and Testament of me Bartholomew McGrath of Patricks Cove in the Southern District of the Island of Newfoundland - Farmer. I appoint Patrick Coffey of Angles Cove executor of this my last will and Testament I will that my just debts be paid as soon as convenient after my decease. I will devise and bequeath to my son George all that piece of land that came into my possession on account of being mortgaged by my son (Anthony) and being the part left to him (Anthony) by his mother. The balance of my land I will devise and bequeath to my sons George, Patrick and Bernard share and share alike. George to take the part next Anthony’s Bernard next to George, and Patrick next to Bernard’s
In witness whereof I have hereunto (set my hand by placing my mark) and affixed my seal at Placentia this 29th day of July A.D. 1904 having first been read over and explained Bartholomew his X mark McGrath (LS) Signed by the Testator and acknowledged by him to be his last will and Testament in our presence who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request we have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses James Kent Andrew Collins
