Thomas Joseph Devereux deceased In the name of God, Amen. I, Thomas Joseph Devereaux, administrator of the Parish of Argentia do declare this to be my last will and testament:- [1]. I will and bequeath my life insurance policy amounting to two thousand dollars, as follows viz., four hundred dollars to His Grace Archbishop Roche.- [2]. Fifty dollars to each of the Roman Catholic orphanages- [3]. I will and bequeath for masses for my own soul, one hundred and fifty dollars - The remainder of the balance of my insurance policy I wish to be divided equally between the members of my own family at home. In witness of this my last will and testament I put my name in presence of undersigned witnesses this 14th day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen [sgd] Thomas Joseph Devereaux - witnesses: [sgd] V.F.
