Register of Baptisms in the Mission of Belle Isle Straite, 1849-1860

This information was transcribed from a photocopy of the original parish registar. In August 2000, many hours were put in at the Provincial Archives in St. John's to locate these records, but they were not there. This copy of the original, (which was sent by a Shinnicks lady from the U.S), was transcribed and may be the only copy in existance. These are precious records and Labrador records in particular are really difficult to come by.

The information was transcribed by ELLEN TORNG, April 2001. While I have endeavored to be as correct as humanly possible, there may be typographical errors.
