NameDescription of ErrorMy Name
Applin Appleton is an error or possibly it has evolved into Applin. Applin is common in the Strait of Belle Isle. Matthew Way
Noseworthy Hoseworthy, I'm sure should be Noseworthy. Matthew Way
Mahar Mare has evolved into Mahar, or it was misspelled. Matthew Way
Rumbolt Rimbald has evolved into Rumboldt. Matthew Way
Applin? Stapleton--I'm wondering if there is some confusion with Appleton, which has become Applin. Matthew Way
Wells John Wells intrigues me because I am unable to find a birth record for my great-great-grandfather John Way but I have found many connections to the Wells line and I found a record in Trinity Bay where the Way's supposedly came from of an illegitimate John Way/Wells born to Elizabeth Wells and father reported to be John Way.
