This cemetery contains one headstone that has lots of writing That is very difficult to read. It is a large stone with the entire plot being covered. [Transcriber's notes: The young man, John Frewen Moor, came to Newfoundland as a missionary. He was the son of an English vicar. I have not been able to pick out the dates, however research states that it must have been in the mid to late 1800's. There is apparently a window in a church in Ampfield England in memory of this young missionary] John Frewen Moor Student of St. John's College Eldest son of His Rev. J.F. Moor Vicar of Ampfield, Hants? May XII, ????? Aged XX Years He shall send down from on high and shall take me out of many waters. Psalms XVIII:16 Thomas Hill of Gosport, Hants Seaman aboard this Church ship whose Body was not found The sea shall give up her dead.
