I William James Rose being of sound mind, but weak of body maketh this my last will and Testimony revoking all others
As follows I hereby bequith to my Beloved sons Walter M. and Allan E. Rose all my Right, Title and Interest in the Fishing Room "situated at Flowers Cove" Boats Traps Nets and all other Gear connected with the fishing. My Right Title and Interest in the Schooner "Nettie M. J." To have and to hold in equal parts by my Beloved Sons Water M and Allan E. Rose.
My Right Title and Interest in the above being the Fourth part My Cash now on the Books of The Co-operation store Situated at Flowers Cove
To my Dear Brother Henry Walter Rose one hundred Dollars
To my Beloved wife Annie Rose Twenty-five dollars and my Beloved Daughters Peninah L. and Sarah W Rose Ten Dollars each also I bequith to my Dear Brother Henry Walter Rose all my Right, Title and Interest in the Schooner "Daisy"
And to my Beloved wife Annie Rose. The Sewing Machine, My bed and bedding on which I am now laying to have and to hold as her own for ever Also my Dwelling House Furniture and all my House-hold effects Situated at Flowers Cove, with the exception of the Sewing Machine and Bed and Bedding previously disposed of to my Beloved wife
I hereby bequith to my Beloved sons Walter M. and Allan E. Rose to have and to hold in equal parts My Beloved sons are to provide and support my Beloved Daughters Peninah L. and Sarah W. while they are unable to support themselves or being provided for
Also to provide and support my Beloved wife Annie Rose as long as she is a widow and holds my name and to be Mistress as she now is Signed by William James his x mark Rose In the presence of Andrew Parsons Thomas W Rose Dated at Flowers Cove Straits of Belle Isle August 21st A.D. 1906
