I William HUMBER, fisherman of Wild Cove, Bonne Bay, hereby make my last Will and Testament revoking annulling all former wills and testaments I bequeath and give to my son William Thomas, the piece of land on which his dwelling house stands of the dimension of one square acre, from the fence of the north of his house. I bequeath and give to my son James the piece of land adjoining the former as far as the fence on the hill. I bequeath and give to my son George Edward the piece of land adjoining my brother Jesse's to the e.... by one acre square I bequeath and give to my sons Benjamin, Norman and Walter the piece of land between that of James and George Edward's to be heldby them conjointly. The said piece to be at least for my three youngest sons one acre by the sea shore. I bequeath and give equally to all my sons all the land at the rear of that above mentioned, to be at the least three acres of land for each and that the . . . of land to be that lots for each plot should be cash I bequeath and give to my wife Catherine, all the fishing gear and boats which .... as long as she remains a widow and while my son James remains with his mother he is to have the care of gear and boats. If my wife remarries then my son James is to have all gear and boats and he to support his younger brothers out of the same. I bequeath and give to all my sons in equal parts the store and wharf in Wild Cove until such time as William Thomas, George Edward & James are able to build stores & wharves for themselves, then the said wharf and store to be the sole property of my younger sons. I bequeath and give to George Edward and James conjointly my store and wharf in Neddy's Harbour. I bequeath and give to my sons William T & Benjamin the Lobster Factory, House & gear in Murphy's Cove. I bequeath and give to my wife Catherine, the dwelling house and contents, as long as she is a widow & if she remarries the said house and contents to be for my three youngest sons and they to support their sisters as long as they remain single and will stay with them. I bequeath and give to my wife all the cattle & sheep for her sole use. William Humber X Witnessed this twenty third day of April 1898, by us the undersigned
