In re: ROBERT MCKENZIE DECEASED.

I, Robert McKenzie, of Glenburrie, Bonne Bay District of St. Barbe, Newfoundland, do make this my last will and testament I give and bequeath to Simeon Parsons, the piece of land on the North Side of the Road (between Simmonds and Janes) together with the Store and its contents. And I give him the piece of land on the inside of the Road of the land on the other side of the river in the Bottom. And I also give him one of my Ewe Sheep.

I give and bequeath to my brother’s Earnest and Edwin equal shares in the land on the inside of the road (between Simmonds and Janes) excepting an half acre, 35 yards wide on the road, from Simmonds boundary line, upon which Simeon Parsons has his house.

I give and bequeath to my brother’s Earnest and Edwin equal shares of the land on the front side of the road, on the other side of the river.

I give and bequeath to my brothers Earnest and Edwin all the money in the bank of which I shall die possessed.

I give and bequeath to John, son of Earnest McKenzie the land and house on this side of the river.

I give and bequeath to the Rev. G. H. Maidment the wether(?).

I give and bequeath to Mary Ann McKenzie one Ewe Sheep.

I give and bequeath to Annie Young my gramophone and to Earnest McKenzie’s son Edwin my feather bed.

I appoint that the Parish Priest of the Church of England in Bonne Bay be Executor of this my last will and testament.

I hereby revoke the sections of the foregoing marked "A" and instead thereof direct that Simeon Parsons is to take one half of the land bordering on the river and my two brothers Edwin & Earnest are to take half of the remainder.

I further direct that as in the above will I have bequeathed the house in which I live to John McKenzie son of my brother Earnest I direct that he shall not be given occupation of the same before three months elapse after my death except at the freewill of my brother Edwin

"DD"
Codicil to my last will and testament, made this 15 April 1921, by me Robert McKenzie being of sound mind and memory.

I direct that whereas in the said will I leave the house and land of my father to my nephew John McKenzie, son of Earnest McKenzie, I do hereby revoke that disposition of the said property and do now will and bequeath it to my brother Edwin McKenzie, who has cared for me in my sickness. And I do further direct that whereas in my said former will I have bequeathed what money I should die possessed off to my two brothers in equal shares, I do hereby revoke and alter that and do now will and bequeath the whole to my brother Edwin who has cared for me in my sickness And also whereas in the said former will I directed that the piece of land between Simmonds and Janes should be divided into two equal shares, one to each of my brothers, and ½ acre to Simeon Parsons, I now hereby revoke and alter this disposition of said property and do now will and bequeath it in two portions one to my brother Edwin and the ½ acre to the said Simeon Parsons.
