Will of Nicholas Doyle

IN RE:   NICHOLAS DOYLE.    DECEASED

Sandy Bay,
District of St Barbe,
Nfld. Jan 9th.
1924.
I Nicholas Doyle, son of James Doyle of Bear Cove, St Barbe District, deceased, and myself now residing in Sandy bay, St Barbe District, being sound in mind but weak in body, and realizing the brevity and uncertainty of human life do hereby make my last will and testament in the presence of the undersigned witnesses, and in the name of The Holy Trinity.

I certify that to my brother James Doyle who is at present residing in St Barbe's, District of St Barbe, I do hereby bequeath all my personal property and money with the exception of a small sum I am giving to those whose names are below.
Richard Doyle, my brother is to receive one dollar after my decease.
Hach Genge, wife of Simon Genge one dollar.
Nathaniel Gould's boys 25 ¢ each. And Deborah Doyle of St Barbe one dollar.

The money due me when collected is also for James Doyle.

Below appear my debtors together with the amount.
Philip Coates Sr. Eddies Cove, $350.00. Three hundred and fifty dollars.
Philip Coates son of George Coates, of Eddies Cove, deceased $8.00 Eight dollars.
Benjamin McLean of Green Island Cove $20. Twenty dollars.
James McLean Sr, of Green Island Cove $8.00. Eight dollars.
Flower's Cove Cooperative Store, Flowers Cove $1000.00. One thousand dollars.

The debts due me by the above named debtors when they are recovered together with all the money in my possession at my decease and also property reverts to my brother James Doyle.

I appoint Stephen White of Sandy Bay, St Barbe District as my Executor and to have the terms of this my last will and Testament carried out at my decease.
