In re Albert Edward Crocker deceased I, Albert Edward Crocker, fishermen, of Trout River, District of St. Barbe Colony of Newfoundland being of sound mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament. I appoint the Rector of Bonne Bay Parish to be the executor of this my will and testament. I give and bequeath to each of my six children as follows Edna Louise McLaine [on condition that she assumes and bears the additional name "Crocker" as surname. Thus Edna Louise McLaine Crocker] Albert Rowland Crocker, Harris Clayton Crocker, Alexander Vallance Crocker, Olive Campbell Crocker and Mildred Shirley Crocker an equal share in all my insurance money. If Edna Louise McLaine does not adopt and use the name "Crocker" she forfeits her share in this insurance money. I give and bequeath to my three sons, Albert Rowland Crocker, Harris Clayton Crocker, and Alexander Vallance Crocker, my 20 acre lot of land at the mouth of the pond in equal shares according to the division shown on the grant of land in my possession. I give and bequest to my two sons Albert Rowland Crocker and Harris Clayton Crocker my house and store and the land upon which they stand each to have equal rights therein. I give and bequeath to my son Alexander Vallance Crocker the waterside land and barn and flake situated between W. H. Crocker and John Charles Harris land. And I further will and bequeath to my three sons as above named all my fishing gear and other portable property in equal shares, and I direct that the executor of this my will decide whether or not this property be sold before this division be made. I give and bequeath to Albert Rowland the cow, to Harris Clayton the heifer, and to Alexander Vallance [my sons] the portion of my rights and interest in the house owned by the Crocker Brothers.
