HALL To Paul DUKES of Twilingate. You are hereby commanded in the
Kings Name (all business being laid aside, and all excuses whatever
ceasing) in your proper Person, to appear before the Commissioners of Ayer
and Terminer, Commission’d to try Capital Offences in Newfoundland, at the
general assvies (?) to be holden at St. John’s in the Month of October
next, to give evidence on the third day of the said Month, upon the Tryal
of Jeffery Tizard, charged with the Murther of Benjamin Odle; of this you
are not to fail at your Peril.
