In re WILLIAM THOMAS BAIRD deceased. I, William Thomas Baird of Twillingate in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland, realizing the uncertainty of life and being of sound mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament in the following manner, that is to say : (1) I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Catherine Baird all my possessions consisting of land dwelling house furniture forge and all its contents, also my interest in the building now occupied as the Bank of Nova Scotia during her natural life, at her death the dwelling house and land surrounding it becomes the property of my two daughters Katherine Manuel and Elsie Newman as per Deed of Gift. 2. At the death of my wife the Forge and tools not other wise disposed of is to be equally divided between my two sons William W. Baird and Harold E. Baird (3) The property situated at Tickle Point now occupied by Andrew “ Gray; I give and devise unto my sister Fanny Gray for her sole use and benefit during her natural life, at her death the said devised property is to be my sons William W. Baird for his sole use and benefit forever. (4) All my interest in mines and mining property, I give and devise as follows (1) to my grandson Victor Baird and my grand daughter Vera Baird the sum of Five hundred ($500) dollars each, said money to be deposited in the Bank and given to each on their attaining the full age of twenty one years. All my other interests in said mining of which I may die possessed I give, devise unto my wife Katherine Baird my two sons William W. Baird Harold E. Baird and my two daughters Katherine Manuel; and Elsie Newman in equal shares. And lastly I hereby appoint and constitute my two sons William W. Baird and Harold E. Baird to be the executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this ninth day of July 1913. Wm . T. Baird. Signed in the presence of John White Charles White Codicil Whereas I did in sec. (2) of the foregoing will devise my forge, tools therein, land and other property surrounding my forge to my two sons in equal shares I do now revoke so that sec in so far as it relates to my son William W. Baird and do now devise the said property forge etc. unto my son Harold E. Baird for his sole use and benefit forever, at the death of my wife.
